Puffin Schools has been created by the children’s publisher Puffin to help bring together all the inspiring content we create for schools into one place.
Let’s investigate how science and stories help us to understand the world!
You’re invited to become a team of storyologists in our free World Book Day Story Makers Show. Tune in, where we will be:
- Performing some colourful experiments to find out if you can get rainbows in space with help from our resident expert Dr Sheila Kanani, author of Can You Get Rainbows in Space?.
- Drawing some brilliant brains from Kay’s Brilliant Brains with illustrator and comedian Henry Paker.
- And teaming up with none other than Lucy Hawking to investigate her book Princess Olivia Investigates: The Wrong Weather!
At the end of the show, your pupils will be set a Story Making Mission to write a story to change the world, using top tips from each of our guests on the show.
Before watching, download our FREE accompanying Mission Pack below which has all of the games, activities and worksheets used in the show!
The event is streamed through YouTube Premiere, and a YouTube player is embedded in the Puffin Schools website in order to stream. Please check your school’s website permissions to ensure that YouTube isn’t blocked.
